The Moon Valley (Atacama Desert), whose nickname speaks for itself, is one of the most stunning corners of the Cordillera de la Sal, imposing formation arising by powerful pressures of the earth's horizontal range. These desertic and inhospitable landscapes harbor no more life than the travelers who venture to enjoy stunning panoramic. The dry salt composed lakes inside,surprise by their colors changes, attractive blue, red, yellow and green, especially in the twilight hours. The photograph was taken at sunset from the top of the Great Dune, drawing precisely these amazing lights. In the background is the Volcano Licancabur- 5920 meters (meaning "mountain village" in the kunza language).
