Born in 1972 in Cadiz, he studied photography at the School of Image and Sound of La Granja de Jerez. Between 1994 and 1997 he worked for the newspaper "Cadiz Información", in 1997 moves to El País in Malaga and also works for the EFE agency (1999-2003). In 2002 began working for Reuters and in 2006 assumed the Reuters correspondent in Morocco. In 2010 he moved to the delegation of Reuters at Portugal, where he currently resides. Among his Exhibitions: "Women in the crossfire" (2001) about the situation of women in Palestine, "Cruel Sea" (2006) on the tragedy of immigration in Spain or the annual Reuters exhibition "1,20 meters", on the rights of children. His works and awards include "Los reporteros" (Canal Sur TV) about sex in old age, her social work in Morocco or the Andalusia Prize for Journalism on Kosovar Albanian refugees.
